LSMerriment: Holiday Cooking Demonstration

For the month of December, we’re celebrating “25 Days of LSMerriment.” In other words, we’re sharing 25 great holiday local store marketing ideas to inspire you this season and help drive sales!

Last week, we saw this great advertisement for a Holiday Cooking Demonstration at Fresh Market. They’ve assembled a collection of hors d’ oeuvres and entrees to help with your holiday entertaining – and chefs will be on site to walk you through the preparation and presentation of these tasty dishes!

After the demonstration, customers sample the holiday menu items, and can shop for the ingredients then and there. Fresh Market has also put an Easy Holiday Recipes book up on their website for free download!

If you own a specialty gourmet shop or small grocery store, this could be the perfect event for you! It will engage your customers, establish you as the expert, and encourage your customers to come to you for all their holiday entertaining needs!
