Mother’s Day in the United States is celebrated the 2nd Sunday in May. (In the UK it is 3 weeks before Easter is celebrated). What better way to celebrate the mother(s) (or mother figures) in your life than by treating them like queens for the day? Ducard Vinyeards in Madison County, Va. is celebrated both mothers and their newly released rosé wine. Mothers got a free rose (no accent) and can enjoy live music and a festive munchies menu.

Sip & Spa

Pick a package, any package… The Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa in San Diego offered three Mother’s Day packages to choose from. Additionally, all moms receiving a spa treatment on Mother’s Day receive a free glass of sparkling wine.

Free Bubbly

Ritzy Beverly Hills restaurant Bouchon plans a special menu for Mom, and is sweetening the deal by giving her a glass of Champagne, for free!

More Free Wine

Moms could try a little of everything at Gray Ghost Vineyard in Amissville, Va. The vineyard waived tasting fees for Moms, and kept her entertained (with live music) and full (with gourmet boxed lunches).

Tea For Two

Remember tea parties when you were a kid? This is like that, but so much better. The Carlyle House in Alexandria, Va., invited you and your mom to tea on the terrace. Enjoy teas, fancy finger foods, and maybe even a little Champagne.
