LSMerriment: Procrastinator’s Luck

Merry Christmas! Today is our last day! We’re celebrating a fun and easy idea from Pure Prana Yoga Studio in Alexandria, VA. On Monday, December 22, I received an email entitled “Procrastinator’s Luck.” The yoga studio was discounting their gift cards for that day only!

What a great idea for your last minute customers! Not only does this business rarely discount their yoga classes or gift cards, it is a direct reminder to (a) buy a gift if you haven’t already, and (b) buy that gift from Pure Prana! They even included a handy gift guide (with what different amounts can get you), so their customers don’t have to think twice or hesitate to purchase. This gift card discount idea could work for a variety of small businesses. We like it because unlike discounting merchandise – the gift encourages new customers to come through your doors in the new year!
