If you have a rewards or loyalty card at a shop, restaurant or spa, you probably have received birthday offers for free samples, a special discount or other little treats to get you into the store on your birthday or during your birthday month. Do you ever cash in on your birthday perks or do you find they aren’t “worth it”?

  • How can you take a simple courtesy (like a case discount on wine, for example) to the next level for a customer on their birthday?
  • What are your neighbors and/or competition doing for their customers on their birthdays? How can you make your’s better/different?
